My buddy, Jamie Vanrhyn is putting on a 2 day Herding Camp in Shaunavon, Sask. followed by a Jackpot Fun Trial next Jun.15-17. Instructors will be Peter Gonnet, Dale Montgomery and Ken Mckenzie. 15 students will be divided into 3 groups of 5 to take part in 3 working sessions with ea. instructor per day. Additional sheep/cattle time also available as well as evening whistle lesson, shearing demo. and hands-on lambing experience. Go a few days early or stay after to work dogs at $10/dog. You want stock time - fill your boots!! These instructors are rarely available for clinics as they are full time shepherds/ranchers/horse trainers/working stockmen.
