We worked the whole group at the end.

Mark & young Buddy.  Very new to this.

Ember waiting and keen to go again.    They scheduled us quite early so there weren't a lot of spectators yet.  But we had fun working all our dogs in a different venue for a change.    Mark, Maureen, Lynda and I went for Dim Sum after.

Demo Day at A Rocha

Gorgeous warm spring day spent doing Demo at Brookswood Heritage Farm now managed by A Rocha.
Pam's Nell watching sheep in holding pens.
Beautiful long winding driveway entrance to the farm.
Dusty ready and waiting for sheep to be brought into the field.

Pam getting all her dogs chained up to fenceline.
Dusty holding sheep off the gate.

Pam's old Tally pushes sheep off the fence.
Bill working young Flash.

McCallion's dogs waiting to work.  Flash on the right.
View of the parking lot and housing in background.

This was 'Day at a Farm' for groups of inner city kids.  They moved in small groups to each of the various demos.

Blaze and 2 buddies waiting at the gate to go back to holding pen.
Wood chopping demo.

Brave spectators get to try their hand at it.
Tally holding next group off the dogs on the fence.

Pam's pack would love to get a turn.
My Jayne fetching.  They had mowed some of the field which is why it is so green.  The brown didn't get cut last year.

Jayne has brought them to my feet.
Lynda's Lark turns the 'post'.

My Owen.

Owen bringing sheep to me.

Then he drives them off.
Rafe another Blair son.  Littermate to Owen.

Keen to work.
Lynda's Lark fetching.

Owen doing a nice long drive down the field.
Loaded sheep ready for ride home.

Pam's sheep seem to like going for a ride. They make me laugh when I follow behind her going down the road.

Demo done.  ALL the collies get to have a run & play out in the field.  What a great day!
